About Us

Who is Foodtogether?

What started as a social enterprise in the late 80s has today grown into a nationwide service, supplying healthy fruit and vegetables to thousands of Kiwi's each week!

Right from its inception, Foodtogether has been committed to supporting local communities and families by making fresh produce available at affordable prices. We do this by working closely with a number community groups, non-profit trusts and churches around New Zealand, to help get fresh produce into the hands of families and individuals that need it most. This also provides the added convenience of allowing customers a range of pick-up choices for their orders.

There are over 300 volunteers that work through our hubs each week on packing and shipping around 7 tonnes of produce throughout New Zealand weekly and this number is continually growing.

In the coming months, Foodtogether will be launching new food options including delivery services, meal kits and other produce items to make the service even more convenient to our customers.

If you would like to become part of the Foodtogether network we’d love to hear from you – just head to our Contact Page and tell us a little about how we can partner together!
